This Agreement is made on (Date), between the Client (referred to as "Client") and Rev. Chrissy Ball (referred to as "Officiant") for officiating the (Event Type) of (Client) on (Date), with the Officiant arriving at (Time) at (Location). The contracted package agreed upon is: (Package Name).
Consultation Requirement:To ensure the ceremony aligns with your expectations, a free 30-minute consultation is required prior to booking. This meeting allows us to discuss your vision and confirm the details before securing your date. Please note: The Quick I Do Elopement Package does not require a consultation.
General Package Terms:
A non-refundable retainer of 30% of the total cost is due upon booking to secure your event date.
Final payment is due no later than 15 days before the ceremony.
Bookings must be made at least 30 days in advance. Bookings with less than 30 days’ notice will incur a $50 last-minute booking fee, available as an add-on through Acuity Scheduling. Bookings are not accepted with less than 15 days’ notice.
Cancellations are accepted up to 15 days prior to the event date. The retainer is non-refundable under any circumstances. Cancellations within 15 days of the event require full payment. Postponements are subject to the Officiant’s availability.
Exceptions:
Quick I Do Elopement Package: Available as a same-day service during office hours at The Violet Flame (Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM). Clients must schedule an appointment through www.thevioletflame-divinehealing.as.me/sign-go. Full payment is due upon booking or at the time of service. No consultation required.
Runaway Romance Elopement Package: Requires a 15-day minimum notice, with cancellations accepted up to 7 days prior to the ceremony. The retainer is non-refundable, and full payment is required if canceled less than 7 days before the ceremony.
Contracted Packages:The Officiant offers thoughtfully crafted ceremony packages tailored to various needs and beliefs, including Secular, Christian, Handfasting, and Naming Rite ceremonies:
Quick I Do Elopement Package ($100): A simple, legal ceremony for couples seeking a straightforward process. Couples must provide all relevant legal paperwork. Commemorative Marriage Certificate available as a $25 add-on.
Runaway Romance Elopement Package ($250): An intimate ceremony for up to 10 guests with a brief 15–20 minute script and travel within 50 miles. Commemorative Marriage Certificate available as a $25 add-on.
Sweet & Simple Wedding Package ($350): A meaningful ceremony featuring a pre-written script personalized with your names. Includes the option for custom vows, rehearsal attendance, and travel within 50 miles. Commemorative Marriage Certificate available as a $25 add-on.
Happily Ever After Wedding Package ($600): A fully customized ceremony with an original script, unlimited consultations, priority scheduling for special dates, rehearsal attendance, and travel within 100 miles. Includes a Commemorative Marriage Certificate.
Forever & Again Vow Renewal Package ($250): Celebrate enduring love with a heartfelt vow renewal ceremony, including light customizations, rehearsal attendance, and travel within 50 miles. Commemorative Marriage Certificate available as a $25 add-on.
Mark of the Soul Naming Rite ($150): A ceremony honoring a new name, whether welcoming a child or celebrating a personal identity change. Includes Christian, Secular, or Pagan Naming Rites. Baptism Certificate included for newborns; available as a $25 add-on for other naming ceremonies.
Destination Event Clause:For events exceeding local travel limits, the following Destination Event Travel Tiers apply. Fees cover travel, accommodations (if needed), and any required licensing or registration:
Local (Up to 150 Miles): $75 flat fee (covers an additional 50 miles beyond the package's base mileage).
Regional (150–249 Miles): $250 flat fee (includes travel, potential overnight accommodations, and necessary out-of-state licensing fees).
Extended (250–399 Miles): $500 flat fee (covers extended travel, 1–2 nights of accommodations, meals, and licensing fees). Not available for elopement packages.
Cross-Country (400+ Miles or More Than 2 States Away): $1,000 flat fee (includes airfare, multi-day accommodations, transportation, meals, and licensing fees). Not available for elopement packages.
Custom quotes are available for complex travel arrangements.
Theme Wedding Add-Ons:For themed weddings where the Officiant performs in character:
Simple Flair Add-On ($150): Light themed touches, such as accessories or color coordination, with basic script adjustments to suit the theme.
Character Ready Add-On ($300): A fully themed costume provided by the Officiant, a custom immersive script, and an additional rehearsal for character integration. All materials are provided by the Officiant, and client-supplied items will not alter the package fee.
Payment Terms:Final payment is due no later than 15 days before the ceremony via the Acuity Scheduling Page. Late payments will incur a $50 fee if received up to 5 days past the due date, collected through Square Invoice. Payments more than 5 days late will result in cancellation without refund.
If any add-ons were discussed during the consultation but not selected during booking, these fees will be added to a separate Square Invoice for payment after confirmation.
Any payment made serves as a binding signature to this contract.
Liability:The Officiant is responsible solely for the services provided. The Officiant is not liable for damages, delays, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, other vendors, or venue-related issues.
Ceremony Items:Clients are responsible for providing necessary ceremony items (e.g., tables, linens, candles, etc.).
Media Release:The Officiant may use ceremony photos/videos for marketing purposes, including on www.lechatclairvoyant.wixsite.com/officiantservices.
